Course Description: Chemistry 2 CP

​

This course is an extension of topics taught in Chemistry 1. Student work will focus on preparation for college-level chemistry. Laboratory work is an important part of this course. The class is rigorous and demands a high level of abstract thinking, memorization, working with symbols, problem-solving strategies, plus science and engineering applications and learning practices.

  • Molecular Geometry and Bonding

  • Chemistry of Organic Molecules

  • Chemical Reactions with Stoichiometry

  • Solutions with Stoichiometry
