Course Description: Chemistry 2 Honors
This course is an extension of topics taught in Chemistry 1 Honors. Student work will focus on preparation for college-level chemistry. Laboratory work is an important part of this course, and students will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in a laboratory setting. The class is very rigorous and demands a high level of abstract thinking, memorization, working with symbols, problem-solving strategies, plus science and engineering applications and learning practices. Application of mathematical skills is paramount.
